K.K. Fest Season 2 Part 6: First Night

After touchdown in KK,
We went to my uncle’s place….

Very nice place to stay actually…
It also has a great view at the balcony…

That night, we went to some seafood place for dinner…

And as usual,
We got CRAB!!!!

Yummy!!!

And of course
I had my share of crab…

TALIBAN!!!

located somewhere in K.K.,
my uncle brought me and my cousin here one night…

Didn’t eat the nan is that how you spell it??? there

But,

Ta-Pau…

Had a interesting time watching them make the nan…

Apparently,
This place was named after the dude “Taliban”
when the owner had a delima of what name to use.
A friend of his(from the middle east I think)
recommended Taliban
and thus,
Taliban food centre was born…

They use this “stone-oven” (although it was clearly made of concrete)…

And the nan is supposed to stick on the wall of the oven…

Hmm…
reminds me of Kom-Pia…

And the final result,

NAN!!!!
Yummy, yummy NaN…

Brought it back,
Wrapped it in tin foil,
And froze it…

When wanna eat,
Use toaster….

And this was the story of how I discovered
A new food call “Nan” to eat…
And never regretted it…

This reminds me,
Mi, the next time You go boombay masala,
I WANT NAN!!!
